Dual Filter Design
Our 20-micron radial flow carbon filter and patented TAC® filter both have exceptional chemical and scale reduction power without compromising high flow capacity. The dual design of this system uses both of these filters to first filter out harmful chemicals and contaminants via carbon block technology, then converts scale-forming ions into inactive crystals via patented TAC® technology.

20 Micron Radial Flow Carbon Cartridge
HydroTAC’s® 20-micron radial flow carbon filters have exceptional chlorine, taste, and odor reduction power without compromising high flow capacity. Through adsorption, harmful contaminants adhere to the filter’s carbon, efficiently removing these impurities from your water before it flows out of your faucets. Manufactured using a unique process that reduces harmful greenhouse gas emissions, these filters are made from high quality coconut shell carbon; known to be more porous and the most renewable of carbon-based filters. Designed to allow maximum contact between water and carbon ensuring optimal reduction capabilities with reduced pressure drop. Activated carbon treatment is the most studied treatment for PFAS removal and has been proven to significantly reduce PFAS chemicals. Our activated carbon block has an exceptional amount of surface area that will bind to and reduce contaminants and much more so that you can rest easy. Our carbon filter should be replace annually or biannually (once reaching ~ 50,000 gallons filtered), keeping your water clear of sediments and contaminants. Patented TAC® Scale Prevention Cartridge
Template Assisted Crystallization® (TAC®) technology attracts and converts converts “hard” minerals into harmless, inactive microscopic crystals. Accumulation of these minerals on the crystal’s surface renders them unable to attach to any metal pipes and fixtures. TAC® technology does not add or remove any elements from your water, allowing essential minerals such as calcium, potassium, and magnesium to remain. HydroTAC® is proven to remove and prevent up to 99.6% or more of scale through multiple independent scientific studies. Our TAC® filter lasts up to 3 years without needing to be replaced, so no monthly fees or maintenance like other systems!
